The black UL-listed, OSHPD-approved Chief Ceiling Plate is designed for ease of installation with virtually any ceiling installation • By using any length of standard NPT 1.5" pipe threaded on both ends, you can extend the height capabilities to meet your needs • The ceiling plate can also be combined with any Chief CMS Fixed or Adjustable Extension Column to customize your installation • Use it where a short extension column will be used, or in installations where there may not be adequate space for a larger plate • weight capacity is 500 lbs. This model is TAA compliant
